Once attorney and client agree to go forward, we will give you a fee agreement that spells out our job, your responsibilities and how much the fee will be. Generally, we charge a flat fee for our services and we will be able to tell you what it is once we meet with you and learn about your financial situation. We will never leave you in the dark about fees. You will need to sign two copies of the fee agreement: one for your records and one for ours.
Once you’ve signed on with us, you will be our client and we will be your legal representative for your financial matters. You will be able to tell creditors and bill collectors that you have a bankruptcy attorney that they’ll need to deal with from this point on.
